We have been working on SUFFIXES: - er to make comparatives and -est to make superlatives.

Today, we are going to transform ADJECTIVES into AVERBS adding the suffix -ly

Hoy vamos a trabajar los adverbios y transformaremos adjetivos en adverbios añadiendo el sufijo: ly.

1. Write the title on your notebook: ADVERBS

2. Copy: Adverbs modify the verb (action) for example: the leopard walked slowly. 

   Many adjectives can turn into adverbs by adding the suffix -ly:slow-slowly, quick-quickly
 
3. OBSERV and tell me:  mira lo que cambia en la transformación del adjetivo al adverbio.

4. PRACTICE: go to LINK and complete worksheet. (no te olvides de al acabar escribir el email de clase para que nos llegue tu tarea (tenerias5a@gmail.com o tenerias5b@gmail.com). Puedes mirar tu nota y repetirlo de nuevo si no ha ido muy bien. También puedes hacer una foto a la ficha rellenada y con la nota y mandarla al correo.
