dictionary. Then you can do exercise 1 and 2.

Page 89. Activity 1.
Listen and answer the questions.
Gravity is the force that pulls everything to the ground.
In the diagrams, the red arrow represents the force of gravity. Gravity pulls
things down towards the ground so the red arrows always point in the same direction.
Gravity always exerts the same force so the red arrows
are always the same length. When we drop a ball, it falls to the ground. The
speed of the ball increases as it nears the ground. When we throw a ball up
into the air, it rises quickly but falls back to the ground with the force of
gravity.
The blue arrows represent speed. When the speed of the
ball is greater, the blue arrows are longer. This happens when we first throw
the ball up. It also happens when the ball gets nearer the ground.
